Home Tutoring Services is a registered business
which provides Private Tutors in all subjects, levels and locations
across Australia. Private Tutors can work at the student's residence,
school or any location agreed upon by both parties.
Students experiencing difficulties with school attendance
and understanding or completion of school work, greatly benefit
from having a Private Tutor.
The benefits of Private Tutors include: assimilation into
the education system for children currently not attending school,
increased understanding of school work, completion of school
work and home work, better marks, and increased self-esteem
and confidence.
Special areas of need for which Home Tutoring Services
have developed unique and very effective strategies and programs
are: Year 12 tutoring, reading tuition, writing instruction,
spelling strategies, numeracy and self-worth. Full training,
ongoing professional development and materials are provided
to tutors. You can choose from one or more of the following:
English Tutor, Mathematics Tutor, Physics Tutor, Chemistry Tutor,
Biology
Tutor, History Tutor, Computer Tutor, Reading Tutor, or any
other subject including scholarship and selective school exams,
military exams, nursing exams and remedial tuition for all ages.
Tutors are registered and screened for suitability to tutor
children and adults in their specific subject area and in clear
spoken English. Tutors possess current Police and Reference
checks. If you need help with your studies, we can arrange for
a tutor to call you for a no-obligation, friendly chat.

Costs of Tutoring
Pay as you go. No contracts or booking fees. The following
rates apply for tutoring:
Tutoring year 10 and below: $45.00 per hour
Tutoring
years 11 and 12: $55.00 per hour
Tutoring
tertiary levels: $65 per hour
Want to register as a tutor?
Work is available throughout Australia, tutoring primary,
secondary and tertiary students in all subject areas.
You must be a qualified teacher, graduate or undergraduate
with a Police Check. Please complete the application
form at www.hometutoring.com.au/application_form.html.
By registering, you agree to abide by the conditions of the
service, including the recommended rates of pay.
Tutors will need to be capable and confident that you can
assist someone having difficulties in the particular subject/s
you register to tutor. You will also need to be flexible, patient
and a good communicator. Satisfactory Reference and Police Checks
are required.
For your tutoring registration to be accepted, you
must include an up to date resume with references.
